They really are grasping at straws now aren't they? I can't imagine this will differ at all from the status quo of their 2006 guidelines, complete with ignoring the majority of the science available on Lyme Disease, and the conflicts of interest and corruption that influenced their creation.
In fact, it looks like an entrenchment and a redoubled effort to reinforce them.
What is the current status of the results of the Attny General of CT vs IDSA conflict of interest settlement? Have they completed the new panel selections? When is the public review period rescheduled for now?
Thank you to anyone that can fill me in, I am ashamed to say I have fallen very behind on all of this lately.
(edit: I suppose I ought to go visit the Activism forum. I still forget there are other forums here all the time - oops!)

I took it. It goes over 4 case histories of Lyme patients who were treated by 4 different infectious disease doctors, they give a summary of the case, treatment, exam findings, etc and then ask 4 questions at the end of each case study.
Once case is a young boy w/ 20+ EM lesions covering his body who ended up w/ Lyme meningitis, another case is a woman who was "misdiagnosed' with Lyme for over 2 years, ended up needing surgery on a nerve (in her back, I think?)...I don't remember much about the other 2 cases, none of these patients ewre treated beyond the IDSA guidelines.
Obviously, the "correct" answers to the questions are all in regard to the IDSA guidelines.
In the beginning I kept getting them wrong b/c I was answering with what I know about Lyme...you know, the true answers-- oops! lol
