been stressed out as about 2 months ago i started getting underarm dull ach (left side) and a lymph node is slightly swollen. also had headaches, pain in left sole of foot for a week, mind fog, pelvic pain and head tingling pressure. my first lyme test (elisa) was positive( was kind of happy) but the western blot was neg w only band 58 postive. repeated tests and both negative. my doc thinks i have it and i am on amoxy. feel better except for the underam pain(sporadic) and the node is still swollen. waitning for ingenx results. of course the swollen nodes have me stressed but i had the same thing 15 years ago when i had lyme(neg tests back then) could use some feedback

I'm not sure what you're asking since you never asked a question. But that all sounds like lyme if that's what you wanted to know? You should read Dr. Burrascano's treatment guidelines at www.ilads.org if you want to learn more specifics since I'm not sure what you want to know.

Ever since I got sick, the first thing that was noticeable was groin pain - which turned out to be throbbing swollen lymph nodes.
I was SO, SO, SO worried about it, I can not tell you. I went on the internet and of course, I found a lot of stuff about cancer. I persisted with my doctor and I had surgery to have one taken out and biopsied.
It came back as a benign inflammation. I found out that I had Lyme later on, but I still have chronically painful and swollen lymph nodes.
It's bothering me really bad again and I am starting to worry AGAIN, so I'm headed back to a normal doctor to see if Lyme is really what it is.
I was going to ask everyone on here (and still might) if others have swollen lymph nodes. I am a cancer-phobe and this is one symptom that freaks me out to no end.
When I first got sick, the soles of my feet hurt so bad I almost couldn't walk, pelvic pain, neuropathy, swollen lymph nodes, and I guess what was anxiety - but I still think it was situational anxiety due to going through such a large battery of tests to rule out other things.
I went through treatment, even i.v. Rocephin for a short time, and I'm still sick and even sicker than I ever was - with new symptoms popping up all of the time. I couldn't afford an LLMD anymore. The money strain ruined my marriage, so now I'm a single mom and DEFINITELY do not have any money for an LLMD.
I'm sure others will direct you with what to do. The hard thing is, if you don't have money, then I don't know what to tell you to do. I flushed $3,500 down the toilet in a matter of months, I just don't have a money tree anywhere near by.

The lymph nodes behind my left breast and slightly under and above my left arm started to bother me about 20 years ago. They would ache, pulse, pinch, cramp, just about everything and the pain would change and move around.
Mammograms over the years revealed nothing and the doctors all thought I was mentally unstable. I was told I had psychiatric problems. One even told me I needed a hypnotist.
In March when I went to my first LLMD visit I had little hope of him knowing what was causing my lymph troubles, never thinking it was Lyme. But I did mention it and he said Lyme can cause that.
Amazingly within a few days of starting abx the pain has almost gone for good.

One of my first symptoms of Lyme was painful and swollen lymph nodes.
Sometimes when starting a new medication, the lymph nodes under my arm and in the chest will become sore again -- my LLMD states this is due to die-off of bacteria. Sometimes if I drink extra water this seems to help.
