One of the members of our little local group who has been very active in contacting our reps and senators received this e-mail on Friday:
------------------------------------------------
I have great news for you to start your weekend with:

Today Governor Rell signed into Connecticut Law HB 6200, making this bill Public Act 09-128.

Best Regards,

Toni

State Senator Toni Boucher

When I did not hear joyful exclamations from Fairfield county, hear it on the news, read it on any online papers or see it on the Governor's home page or any legislative home page, I was feeling apprehensive. I told all my friends and family it had been passed based on Sen. Boucher's email. I am VERY much blown away by this and trying to find out what's what.
