I am now on Biaxin/Malerone now for 2 months-just 2 Malerone a day so far, but am planning to up the dose soon. Also, on supplements, and 4 nystatin a day.

Anyway, for a week now my stomach seems SO upset! like gurging and bubbling, VERY off and on nauseated, and like I am going to have diarhea (sp?) but then never do!

I sit still and am afraid to move around, it hurts so bad, but no cramping or anything, just bubbly, nausea, and just upset...

It's so uncomfortable!

Any insight? I have a feeling I know what you'll say, but I'll wait to hear first...
Thanks!!!

I feel for you-after being on this combo for months, my stomach is suddenly killing me. When did you start the nystatin? Could be yeast die off.

Are you on a candida diet?

I had similar symptoms about 2 weeks ago.

There are some weird stomach viruses going around; my son had it for a while, and that's how I felt when I had it.

I never barfed, althoug I felt like I could; never had diarrhea, but it felt like I would.

Just had nausea and a lot of noise coming from my gut.

Could be yeast, as someone said, could be a virus, could be something else.

Hope you feel better soon!

beths- I have always been on 4 nystatin since the begining of abx

Maybe it is yeast, which is what I thought people would tell me.

tif- I am not on a candida diet, as I am already too thin, and can't keep weight on, so I don't eat straight sugar, but do every once in a while eat some breads and carbs...it's the only way I can keep up my weight...but then you can get yeast from that, so I feel like I can't win, ya know?

so fruatrating, I am so worn down from this disease...thanks for listeing.

Hi Laura,
Sorry you are feeling bad. Have you checked into C-Diff? Not sure of the symptoms of it, but I know it can cause diarrhea. That can be serious too, if you start to have diarrhea I would get that checked out asap.

Also, when I was treating babesia I would be very sick to my stomach. I would feel nauseated on and off throughout the day. Once my symptoms started to get better it would go away.

Any time I herx now I get sick to my stomach and can not eat anything.

Hope you feel better soon.
Marcie
