Starting yesterday I noticed my arm muslces felt kinda sore and then my chest muscles hurt. Well last night I woke up in pure pain.

My Ribs are killing me (especially on sides), my shoudlers, chest, arms, back, hips and pretty much every muscle in my upper body is killing me.

I feel like I've been beat up or in a car wreck. I DIDN'T do anything to cause this. No exercise... nothing.

This is a new thing for me and am worried about it. Does lyme do this?

Like I've said in previous posts, I'm not dx'd yet and am searching for answers. I'm still waiting on my Igenex Results.

I'm in a lot of pain this morning. It's weird though cause my legs don't really feel sore except in my thighs a little.

Any ideas or help? Thank you so much!

Hey guys,
I'm still in pain this morning. It's better than it was yesterday though. I was reading about rib pain and saw that it is a symptom of lyme, but it is also common in Fibro and CFS. I think I really have one of these. Although because of my constant changing symptoms I lean more towards lyme (also been bit and exposed to ticks a lot).

Anyone please suggestions???

Hi!
So, I don't know how much help I'll be, but since no one else has answered...

First- although I strongly suspect I have Lyme, I have not got my test results back.

I get a very similar thing, but not as extreme.

My thighs get especially sore, as do my hips. And lately I've had sore shoulders and back.

I've found that my pain (muscle or joint) does not relate to exercize.

I've woken up feeling like a sprained my ankle, when I have done absolutely nothing...

But I don't have rib pain (althought I have also read that it could be related to Lyme)

As for Fibro and CFS- my (lyme) doctor gave me an explanation that really made sense to me.

She said that while Fibro and CFS are certainly real. the diagnosis is more of a label than an actual diagnosis.

It's just a way of saying "you're tired, and you're in pain- but we don't know why, or how to fix it."

So, a doctor who is not lyme-literate is likely to diagnose Lyme as fibro or CFS, because- although they can see you are in pain- they don't know why.

For example, if you are a mother who has three small kids, and has been trying to work a high-stress job for years, CFS could make sense.

You could just have pushed your body to the breaking point.

But- if you haven't had an incident or trigger for CFS, then Lyme makes more sense.

The good news- Lyme is curable.

Hope this helps! And I hope your pain goes away soon!

What meds are you taking? I am feeling a lot muscle cramping and aching probably from Nystatin.

Possibly a herx or side effect.

Perhaps it is something you are taking?

Hi,
Well I'm not taking ANY meds right now. I'm not dx'd with anything yet. So it's not any side effect.

Thanks for your help!

I live with sooo much muscle bone and nerve pain. Dignosised with Fibro/ CFS and now Lyme.

I have had on going constant muscle, joint, bone nerve pain. Sometimes, I just wake up and can't turn my head or breathing hurts because I get deep pain in chest..usually from ribs .

It is possible to have a rib out or terrible muscle spasm. You can have this without "doing" anything.

Last year I thought I might be having a heart attack because I had a rib out ... the pain was insane.

The fact that I do less ... that pain messages weak or strong are on constant "on" position changes your muscles, faschia and nerve impulses.

If you have bugs viruses etc. they cause inflamation as well.....adding to pain

While this could be lyme it also could be soft tissue, bone or nerve problems...or as most of this goes a combination of all things problematic.

You could take a bit more magnesium...it helps relax soft tissue.
See if heat or ice makes it better.

If ice helps it is often due to inflamation or nerve
If heat helps muscle strain or spasm.

I usally use both on different areas. Hot baths, hot and cold showers, sanua, massage ( if you have someone good and you can trust). Arnica or Tramel homeopathics.

I have a good osteopath which often helps and I also have to take a lot of pain meds.

Sometimes when I have a bad flare I get a shot of Toradal. It is a great anti-inflamatory and helps with the serious bouts.

I hope this passes and you feel better good luck and sorry you are feeling this way. Peace

I've had a lot of muscle and joint pain all over

(moves around)including my ribs. While I wait for an

LLMD appointment. I have went to regular (and

specialists) doctors to treat my symptoms. It has

helped some, I have had physical therapy too (for

shoulder tendentious) which was a great help.

You could try this route too while you wait.
