Hey guys, I'm still in pain this morning. It's better than it was yesterday though. I was reading about rib pain and saw that it is a symptom of lyme, but it is also common in Fibro and CFS. I think I really have one of these. Although because of my constant changing symptoms I lean more towards lyme (also been bit and exposed to ticks a lot).

I live with sooo much muscle bone and nerve pain. Dignosised with Fibro/ CFS and now Lyme.
I have had on going constant muscle, joint, bone nerve pain. Sometimes, I just wake up and can't turn my head or breathing hurts because I get deep pain in chest..usually from ribs .
It is possible to have a rib out or terrible muscle spasm. You can have this without "doing" anything.
Last year I thought I might be having a heart attack because I had a rib out ... the pain was insane.
The fact that I do less ... that pain messages weak or strong are on constant "on" position changes your muscles, faschia and nerve impulses.
If you have bugs viruses etc. they cause inflamation as well.....adding to pain
While this could be lyme it also could be soft tissue, bone or nerve problems...or as most of this goes a combination of all things problematic.
You could take a bit more magnesium...it helps relax soft tissue. See if heat or ice makes it better.
If ice helps it is often due to inflamation or nerve If heat helps muscle strain or spasm.
I usally use both on different areas. Hot baths, hot and cold showers, sanua, massage ( if you have someone good and you can trust). Arnica or Tramel homeopathics.
I have a good osteopath which often helps and I also have to take a lot of pain meds.
Sometimes when I have a bad flare I get a shot of Toradal. It is a great anti-inflamatory and helps with the serious bouts.
I hope this passes and you feel better good luck and sorry you are feeling this way. Peace
