I took Difulcan yesterday and today and I have the strangest unsettling pains in my belly -- in many different places.

I'm also herxing -- lots of leg pain and muscle weakness.

Is this common?

Sounds like a possible yeast herx. Could explain all of the above.

Keep an eye on your reactions and call your LLMD if things get worse. You might ask about backing off the dosage until your body gets used to it.

Are you following the anti-yeast diet as well? That will help lessen the reaction.

Been on the anti yeast diet for a long time, too.

Great to know this could be yeast herx.

It is awful.

If you have nausea with this you can try a pinch of salt. It helps me.

Nausea. . you got it.

Glad it is familiar. Do I just keep taking it or only take it when I have a noticeable infection?

Make sure to take your diflucan with food.

Also, diflucan is thought to hit Lyme as well.

So....maybe a yeast and a Lyme herx.

Diflucan can make me very sleepy, so I tend to take mine

In the evening. I've been taking diflucan daily for over one year,

With periodic breaks (every 60 days).

Hugs,

Geneal

It is really awful. And that might explain the need for naps.

it is soooo helpful to come here and find that I'm not alone.
