Linda or Bill,

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us. I'm sorry that we have infuriated you. It is not our goal to anger anyone, but rather to make sure that people know that not all physicians and laboratories utilize a scientific approach to the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. For instance, I would want anyone considering diagnosis and treatment similar to that practiced by the individual recently arrested in New Mexico (http://www.kfoxtv.com/news/19784543/detail.html) to investigate the means of diagnosis and consider getting a second opinion.

While I do not know you, I'm please to hear that you are getting better since being diagnosed. I do not wish for anyone to suffer from a lack of treatment resulting from an improper diagnosis.

I appreciate that you took the time to sent us the e-mail and wish you the best of luck in the future.

I think we should all sue our doctors who have

failed to diagnose upon visits for over a year. And

those who did test for Lyme but were neg. then

later found positive by a LLLab. All proceeds go to

charity and science. What do ya say?

Good try, but these are sharks in the water and do not have any real interest in justice or your welfare, or anyone else except themselves and their wallets.

The doctor they are now going after has been helping a lot of people just like you, and those folks are going to be hurt by their action. The lab they went after in FL was absolutely professional, was helping people find babesia when no one else would. They helped me finally get a diagnosis, saw the ring stage of the parasite. This cannot be faked. So the state of FL decided (probably encouraged by the CDC) that diagnosing tickborne diseases was not a good thing, in fact bad for their stats. So they shut it down. The CDC was behind the attempts to shut down another highly professional specialty lab. Anyone who is in the forefront of tickborne disease diagnosis is in a precarious position.

So, that baloney about preventing patients from being treated for a disease they don't have is just cover for greed. Not very good cover either.

I'm not saying that unscrupulous treatments should continue but as patients become more educated in research methods, those will soon see a short shelf life.

However, by the law firm advertising in such a manner, it is clear that they are fishing for anyone who is lawsuit happy with dollar signs in their eyes and they are going after some good doctors who have the courage to address a complex set of tick-borne infections.

The are not just the ambulance chaser here, they are tossing debris and bait in the road.

Well- What does one suggest?

I have compiled enough information I could

represent myself in a court of law. Unfortunately

the docs who are treating don't have that luxury

I know getting a good lawyer is like

trying to get a good doctor! In the Fl. case the

defense needed was deceased.
