My son is in Antigua with his dad and has been complaining about symptoms that could be Lyme disease, so he went and got tested. I had asked him to get the Western Blot test, but the lab ran a completely different test:

Test: Lyme Disease Antibody
Patient Result: 244.4
Ref. Range: <120 Non reactive
12 -159 Borderline
= or >160 Reactive

I can't find any information that shows tests results reported this way. If anybody can identify the test, I would be most grateful.

My son was diagnosed with Lyme in Dec. 2006 and went through 3 rounds of treatment, including IV antibiotics. He was then infected again in July 2008 (we live in East Lyme!) and went through a 60 day course of antibiotics. Without knowing what this test is, it may be measuring prior exposure.

Any help identifying this test is greatly appreciated.
