My daughter was in the hospital last week, an infectious disease doctor came in and proudly shared that he was "Lyme Literate"-- as he is taking the "IDSA Lyme Case Course Study"-- I came home and googled it...this is what I found...

This doc is a community-based physician in a small town, looks like the IDSA is corrupting everyone! ugh!

Not is, unfortunately, but has for close to 30 years.

The Lyme Community is in best position than it ever has been and we still have a long way to go. But at least with UOS getting lots

of attention and favorable press and the other political initiatives going on we can be a bit more hopeful than years passed.

Unfortunately, your daughter's hospital experience is all too common.
