I am also on Malarone, Biaxin, and Ceftin.

But it's the recent addition of Plaquenil that is giving me vicious all over the head headaches an hour or two after the dose.

Anyone get this, or know what infection this could be that the Plaquenil is hitting? (or maybe it's a plaquenil side effect?)

I have Lyme, bart, babs, and myco. I'm thinking it would be the babesia, but I realize that maybe the Plaquenil is increasing the Biaxin's effectiveness...

I sometimes get a headache and feel it is due to the Plaquenil.

Like you said- about 1-2 hours after the dose.

It is not everyday, though, and not a migraine.

I am also on Biaxin.

Yes, I think maybe I should change the heading to "bad headache," because I don't think it's a migraine.

Do you think it is from infections dying, or a side effect of the drug?

I lean toward the drug, but it is not at every dose, so...

I will ask my doctor next month (actually this month- I can't believe it is JULY.)

The first couple times I took it I had a dull headache. Mostly when I woke up. But I don't have headaches anymore.
