My doctor runs labs on me every so often and I keep copies of all of them. I have been going through them and see that my lymphocytes are always in the low range. Does anyone have low lymphocytes?
I have read that usually these will elevate with an infection but mine is the other way around... Posts: 458 | From Miss | Registered: Mar 2009

Can be due to a number of things, but a weakened immune system is one you might consider.
Some forms of arthritis can cause it... and perhaps medications you are taking should be considered.
Tumors, poor functioning bone marrow, over active adrenals, steroids, nerve damage, etc can be a cause.
The best thing would be to ask your doctor about it at your next visit.
They would have a better idea than we would for your situation.
Wish I had more info for you... but it is too hard to pin down the cause with so many choices.

I'm going to see an Immunologist/ID doctor about it at the end of this month. I have heard he is lyme literate and treats patients with long term antibiotics and immune system booster treatments...

mine are low too but I have a copy of an old blood test taken 5 years ago (sure I got bit in Dec08) so it was before any lyme and that was just as low. Maybe its not lyme related.
