please, could use some advice. started cedax 10 days ago and was starting to feel better.
about 2 days ago i slowley started feeling bad again with anxiety and a very nervous quesy stomach nausea feeling most of the day.
my llmd told me last week be ready to feel bad again. is this what he meant? please any input would help.
i take diflucan 100 1x a day, and cedax 2x a day. i am doing my probiotics, not eating any sugar but am eating carbs as i don't want to lose weight and eating is an issue now as my quesy stomach has giving me a loss of appetite.
i tried the no carb diet and lost 7 pounds in 5 days.
i tested negative for coinfections but i keep reading that bart causes gastric trouble, anxiety and foot pain(terrible foot pain early on that got better and now is mild)
please any imput would help.. i find myself glued to the comp. and lymenet which i don't know is good either but seems to console me when i am like this.

Hi robfar, Bummer, you're feeling so punky. I don't know what I can say to make you feel any better, other than to just let you know we're all in the same boat with you.
I don't know what is herx and what is dis-ease, anymore. I just know it's Lyme and friends.
If you are already lean, you might need to watch your diet more closely. Some carbs are OK in my opinion- you just gotta make sure you are active (somewhat). The main thing is to not let too many sugars build up- you don't want to deal with yeast.
So, if you are down for the count, carbs aren't the best.
If you eliminate calories by stopping with the carbs, you gotta make up for it else where. Maybe you need more protien than you thought...
Hope you feel better. Drink more water, too.

One more thing: I usually eat a few bites of yogurt or drink some kefir when my stomach is unhappy. It coats the stomach lining nicely.

Hey Rambler...sorry you're feeling so bad. But guess what? It's a herx. Those suckers can be mean can't they?
When I'm herxing I can't eat either - just total loss of appetite. My Lyme doctor says it's because of all the neurotoxins circulating b/c of Lyme die-off...and your body is fighting so hard that it literally doesn't even have the energy to digest food, hence the nausea and lack of appetite.
Even though you can't eat much right now make it a TOP priority to drink as much water as you can - preferably lemon water - and green tea is excellent too. This will help you to detox much faster.
Hang in there and know that this will pass soon!

rjf I take a lot more diflucan than that. These
guys are right bout the water. I have to squeeze a
lemon in mine to tolerate it or barf. And yes the
green tea is great pick me up. Hang in there.
