Today I needed to go to the grocery store and I have no one else to do it for me but I was so tired it was difficult to walk to the door and I cant drink coffee.
I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, raised my eyebrows as far as possible and then made my lips give the biggest smile I could and stomped up and down saying come on caffein over and over again.
The minute I start looking at my face I start laughing cuz I look so crazy and in just a few minutes my energy was boosted up enough that I felt I was safe enough to drive the couple of miles to the market and had enough energy to meet my stomach needs and drive home safely and now I still have enough energy to do a post.
Ive been doing this for several years and its one of the things that make me able to still live on my own and its cost free and safe but not a forever cure.

I think I read somewhere that there's some evidence that just forcing yourself to smile, even if you don't mean it, can start the cascade of brain chemicals that are associated with happiness- and I try this sometimes when I'm not happy. I can see how this would work for a little bit of energy too.
Good for you!
