My tailbone started hurting yesterday, and it is getting worse. I did not fall on it. Actually, when I press on it it does not hurt. So
maybe it is something internal near the tailbone?

Yes, go to search and look up tail bone in medical. You will find a bunch of entries. I actually posted once a long time ago asking about this too.
When I first fell very ill in the beginning I had tail bone pain for no apparent reason. I had never fallen on my tail bone or anywhere on the backside for that matter. It would hurt to sit on it, to lay on it, or even to lay on my side while I was OFF my tailbone and the pressure was off it. But it STILL hurt... it was awful and very uncomfortable.
I believe this is another one of the crazy weird-o, unexplainable, out-of-nowhere symptoms this disease causes. Many people get tail bone pain with it. It's very odd.
Like I said, my tail bone started acting up and hurting for me when I first became really ill and it continued until I got some decent lyme treatment and then it kind of faded away. Once in a while, I'll still get pain in my tail bone, but not like I used to in the beginning and when I do get it now, it doesn't last long at all.
Yep, it's just one of those crazy, unexplainable symptoms!!!

PS - thought I would also throw out there that when I pressed on my tail bone as well, it didn't really hurt either... but the pain was in my tail bone or near my tail bone... in that location. But it did get better with lyme treatment. So I know that for me, it was and is a lyme thing.

My sister has awful, inexplicable tail bone pain. She has always attributed it to Lyme.
