Do you feel it could be lymph that is draining your scalp/brain area? Does it ever go down, or is it always swollen? Do you have many neuro symptoms?

I would call my LLMD and tell them whats going on. He may want to be sure it is not necrosis.

The swelling above my ears never really goes away. I have asked many drs including a llmd and no one has any answers. It feels like its my jaw muscles are swollen.
The swelling follows the upper muscle as shown in the picture.
Any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

So mri/cat scans/tests rule out any obvious lesions or disease?

yes, nothing has shown up in any mri/mra w/ and w/out contrast at two different times.
CT scans are clear.
I had my jaw checked for tmj and it appears to be working fine. Its as fine my jaw muscles are swollen. Its been like this a long time. It gets better when I wear a hat to keep my head warm.

I know a fella who had Bells Palsy a couple of
years back. He missed several weeks of work because
of the drooling. Can't work and slobber all over
everything. I know him but I do not know how they
treated. I will ask though. But I imagine it was
steroids. I hope whatever they call yours it resolves with treatment.
