I've been very dizzy and lightheaded after started new antibiotic treatment for a lower intestinal bacteria overgrowth. Anybody have ideas to help?
I usually get some benefit from salt water or water with electrolytes when I get dizzy, but it isn't helping this time.
In the past, Diet Coke has helped, but I really hate taking the nutrasweet so I'm looking at that as a last resort.

Do you have low blood pressure? This could be a cause of dizziness and lightheadedness that is sometimes helped by salt water, etc (like you said yours sometimes is).... so you might want to see if you are having low blood pressure.

I used to have low blood pressure, but it is now more in a normal range after treating my autonomic nervous system.
My blood pressure is actually usually a little higher than it normally is when I am dizzy. One doctor suspected it drops, I get dizzy, and I'm in recovery by the time I take the blood pressure.
But this time, I'm dizzy for hours and hours, and it starts soon after taking my cipro.
