started 2 months ago. first llmd put me on amoxy, was good for a month seemed a little better. he switched to doxy and i lost my appetite and got a rash. stopped the doxy for a week and felt better eating wise.
went to new llmd and he started me on cedax.on cedax for 10 days and the loss of appetite started with nausea and now heavy anxiety came. stopped the cedax after i had darrhea and he feared c diff.
went to a grastro and he gave me flagyl. the D HAS STOPPED, but the anxiety is now debilitating. now i developed a terrible quesy stomach, anxiety, loss of appetite and depression
my llmd dr s from nj says i have neuro lyme and is starting me on zithro iv on monday. (it did come back igenex positve on the igg and igm.)
now for the last 12 days i feel like i am having the quesy stomach, anxiety sleep problems(waking up at 3 am with the quesy stomach feeling) and night sweats.
he thinks it is from the lyme and ;(also have some mild foot pain, crawling feeling on head and a stretch mark rash).
my dilemma is the d diff as i am worried about taking the zithro any advice
just wondering if anyone has had smiliar and also could it be yeast ande not the lyme with the stomach problems.

My guess is that you have more than Lyme. You may have a coinfection Bartonella. Your symptoms indicate that. Contact your LLMD and let him know your new symptoms.

I agree with CherylSue. Anxiety and scratch/stretch marks are a good sign that you have bart.....oh and the foot pain too.
Speak to your doctor about going after bart.

PS Digestive issues can also point to Bart.

Yes, I agree with the other posts. Sounds like Bartonella. The scratch/stretch marks are a good indication.
My daughter's LLMD, conn, took one look at her scratch/stretch marks and said Bartonella.
Best of luck
