I did it for 8 to 9 months while using an LED (lightworks -- wouldn't recommend lightworks but PE1 instead), essentially I'm pretty much in lyme remission right now. I can't do ABX and felt just these two things have arrested lyme in my body.
But understand, I did a great many other things as well mostly to detox and rebuild lost body functions in my liver and kidneys, including KPU protocol. Improving thyroid function from a TSH of 72.
I still working with supplements even though my sleep is much better and muscle inflamation is almost totally gone. I feel I will be entirely in remission when I'm not taking supplements.
Many in my support group have seen my transition over time. You go to a support group meeting and you can see how sick we are when we look at each other. I was reminded at yesterdays support group meeting how much I've change over the course of a year from sick to well.
When I took MMS it is without the activation trusting my stomach had the necessary acid content to transform the sodium chlorite to chlorine dioxide. I found working to 6 drops 3 times a day worked best for me. It seemed the combination of lightworks and MMS seem to both kill the lyme and the LED exposed the bacteria to the MMS.
If you kill lyme, the lyme organism is still a problem for the body. It doesn't know how to get rid of the organism and its protein in my opionion. You have to work on your mind and with enzyme supplementation to cleanse the body of it. I recently read an article of how lyme carcasses can be seen in the tissues of mice long after ABX had killed the organism.
I suspect that is why lumbrokinase and systemic enzymes along with a good diet might help with that over time.
I have no science on any of this, just my journey through the disease process.
I pray like all my fellow lymies you find yourself out of this disease process.

MMS works, but is hard on the stomach when activated with Viniger or Citric Acid.
It does not seem to kill cyst form any better than anything else. If you can use it long enough, I think it could totally eradicate Lyme.
I think the trick is to use it in a low dose method that is used more now than before. High doses are too hard on the stomach, and it really is going to take a long time to hit all the Lyme as it converts to spirochete form. I do not think the high dosage method is suitable for Lyme treatment, in retrospect.
My wife used it for several weeks, but stomach problems from the 15 drop dose prevents her from using it. She often developes stomach problems when using oral medications.
I used MMS to resolve all of my Crohn's symptoms. It's anti-bacterial action is hard to beat.
Of course, it is experiemntal and carries some risk of unknown side effects. In spite of that, I feel the known properties of Chlorine Dioxide indicate that it poses minimal risks, when used in low doses.
