Taking Alinia I received a big rash below my belly button that was about 5 inches wide and 3-4 inches tall. It was composed of dark purplish/red spots that were about the size of between a dime and a nickel. There were probably 50 of these spots/blotches in all. It gets very red/purplish at first, and then over time and the spots turn freckle color and then all the way back to a tan skin color. When they are back to a normal looking color, there is still color difference between the spots and the normal skin, even though it is almost unoticeable. A couple months later I then ramped up the artemininisn and the rash came back. I went and saw a Dr. and she seemed unsure but thought it was maybe candida.
Has anyone else had these blotches and have any clue what they are from?

I thought I had every skin rash known to mankind, but I am unfamiliar with what you have described.
Wish I could be of more help. What did your doctor suggest you do in case it is candida?
