For the past few days, my abdomen/intestinal area has been acting weird.
I'm thinking it's some kind of a muscle spasm, because it doesn't seem to be gas or tied to anything I'm eating.
For those ladies who have had babies, the best way to describe it is it feels like when the baby first starts kicking and moving, just very gentle flutters.
Sometimes I can actually see my stomach moving when this happens.
It's just very weird....

That's the way sixgoofykids described her symptoms before expelling a tapeworm. Not to scare you, just to make you aware. I have/had the same symptoms.
I expelled large parasites in the past, and can feel some more moving around. I am drinking kefir/yogurt smoothies with greens and digestive enzymes right now to help my gut heal.
I am also taking antiparasitics. Parasites and worms play a MAJOR part in the Lyme complex. Hope this calms down for you,
Gael

Gael, mind if I jump in here? I've been taking kefir, and probiotic capsules, but can you please tell me more about digestive enzymes?
I was hospitalized with a bladder/kidney infection and a distended abdomen with a lot of pain on one side just over a week ago.
Of course I was sure I was dying. Gotta love it.
Now a urologist wants to set me up for $tests$ but my suspicion is that my LLMD has it right. The UTI/kidney infection is resolved, and the abd. pain is left.
LLMD said it was yeast & if it doesn't calm down in 2 weeks, diflucan.
I have perfect bowel and bladder function and the irritable bladder has FINALLy let up, so that the only discomfort is in my abdomen.
I would like to try to resolve this on my own if possible, with digestive enzymes and greens (what are greens?)
See? I'll consume anything if I think it will help. Sound familiar?
Today my LLMD gave me a change of abx for a week, then another change for the second week.
Is there a way to know if digestive enzymes could interfere with abx?
I've got to make this work so I can take abx until I can stand up and walk for more than 2-5 minutes.
My life is at a stand still. All the time when I could push myself through my job, no one knew what I had.

I've had that. I've seen my stomach actually moving by itself, jumping around.
I always thought it was a symptom of Lyme as I had it at the very beginning before getting diagnosed, along with palsy of the gut.
I don't think it's yeast or a tapeworm (but it may be).
I truly think it's from Lyme attacking the stomach.

Hi LL,
Have you been treated for parasites? Type in parasite symptoms in search bar here. Also type in search bar digestive enzymes.
Lots of good info on here. Greens and digestive enzymes alone are not strong enough to deal with this kind of infection but they help.

I have the exact same thing. I think it's muscle twitching, since my muscles twitch everywhere else. I've done the humaworm with no (visible) results.

I am taking a probiotic, but I should probably up the dose.
You can't be fat and have a tapeworm? I never heard that. I guess it makes sense though.

This is so strange because I never had this symptom in the yrs I had Lyme. It's only in the past 2 months.
My first round of Humaworm did help a lot, but you can only do it every 90 days. Right now I have to do smoothies because the spasms were so wild my food was coming up and I was afraid of choking.
Dr. Richard schulze has a lot of good info on this and formulas to calm this down. Lots of hot spices especialy cayenne is mentioned which I am doing and seems to help.
Ipkayak,
One of the symptoms of parasites/worms is weight gain. Not sure about the tapeworm.

I have had this too. Infact I was just thinking about it the other night. The thought that there could be worms in me freaks me out.

lol. Tough to say. Unless you don't have a real hungry tapeworm. That seems like a pretty generalized assumption to me.

Yeah, now I'm getting the same kind of twitchiness on my nose, for pete's sake.
Feels like when an eyelid twitches, but it's the left side of my nose, up around the bridge.
Geez, just when I think things are calming down something else pops up!
