I have a friend who is literally bedridden and has been for months who is slowly dying.

She has been told that she needs IV building, as in nutrition, hydration, nutrients and such.

Then after this she will need very gentle detox if she is to live. Has anyone heard of anyone that does this sort of thing???

Have any of you heard about a Dr. in Reno NV named DR CORA IBARRA? We are desperate here. Anyone ???????

I know we aren't supposed to put Dr's names but since she isn't a LLMD I thought it would be OK.

Thank you,

A lot of environmental medicine and integrative medicine doctors use IV nutrients in their practices. Try Googling your town with those words and see what comes up.

Is your friend on IV antibiotics? If she can get a PICC line, it will be easier for her to do IV antibiotics and IV nutrients.

So sorry about your friend. Someone posted about a hospital here a while back that really looked wonderful.

They do integrative medicine and I think it may be in New Mexico, but not sure. Just can't remember right now but hopefully someone will come along who does.

Type the doctors name in search bar here and see if it comes up. I will try and do some digging around also.

Gael, thank you for the information.

I tried the search, nothing. She can't take anything right now to kill or it will kill her. She is too weak to withstand any treatment.

She was told by many LLMD's and Homeopathic Dr's that she is too far gone and they won't treat her.

Seems someone would want to take her on as a patient just to try and save her life.

She needs her body to be built up by IV's first then she needs very gentle detox. After that she might be able to withstand some kind of treatment.

She is one of the ones that has slipped through the cracks and been grossly mistreated and misdiagnosed.

How can it be that this happens???? Its so vile that we can't get help and have to be mistreated while having to deal with being sick!!!!!

None of us should have to get to a place like this girl who is now too weak to get treatment!!

This makes me SOOOO mad!

I hope Obamahs health care will help us all!!!

Sorry about your friend Icey.

My daughter is on IV Hydration and IV TPN (Total Parental Nutrition)... this is not done thru a Lyme doctor, but a GI. Hopefully you can find a good one near you.

I hope that your friend gets the help that he/she desperately needs.

Thank you everyone so much for your thoughts and good wishes. Please keep the information coming.

I am forwarding information on to her....she also has a friend that helps her since she is too weak to help herself at this point.

I keep praying a miracle will happen or we are going to lose this wonderful, kind, generous person to this vile disease in the not too distant future.

She also has no insurance, family or money. She tries to live on the small amount she gets from disability.

Those of you with basically no help and live alone know how that is.

Thank you all.

I suggest a cancer specialist who can may be

willing to build her up. They deal with the

critically ill every day. I would not be too proud

to beg. She needs this first. Vitamin C IV may

bring her around.

Praying for you both.

Many ACAM docs do IV nutrition. Unfortunately most of them do not take insurance and are very expensive. Here is their website to locate a doc.

http://www.acam.org

My 2nd suggestion would be to maybe check with a hospice -- sometimes those have a religious affiliation and they may possibly take charity cases.

Does the person qualify for Medicaid or Medicare?

There are some transdermal nutrient patches available too. Try Google for that. They just go on the skin.

One thing that helped me (I'm in bad shape too) is to have someone do a lot of juicing for me -- all veggies except for apples, and no carrots as they are too sugary. Lettuce, greens, cucumbers, cabbage, apples. If she can drink anything, try this.
