I used Zhang's artemesia for 6 months with good results, but now it seems to be causing bladder pain.
I've switched to Allergy Research artemisinin and it is very different. I can't seem to find the right dose between not killing and over-killing with way too much pro-oxidative brain stress (a problem I didn't have with Zhang's--maybe because it is artensenate?).
What brands have you used successfully or like the best?
Thanks.

How can you tell it is pro-oxidative brain stress?
The Nutricology brand is what I use, but I get crackling or thumping noises in my ears from it. I wonder what is causing that for me....maybe it's oxidative stress?
Artemisinin is different than Zhang's anyways, because Zhang uses whole herb in his, I believe...which is Artemisia. Nutricology also sells Artemisia too.
PS- Allergy Research is the same as Nutricology.

After I take Allergy Research Group's artemisinin, I feel die off reactions 1-2 hours later. Then a couple hours after that, my brain feels on fire like extra bullets bouncing around tissues. It goes away soon after I take antioxidants that break the blood brain barrier (ester C or grape seed extract). It sounds similar to what Dr. Schaller describes for artemesia in his Babesia book and it goes away with antioxidants.

My Doc said 5 caps 3 X a day for two days......pause five days. Repeat cycle ten times.
Would be interested to hear of others...
BTW I haven't built up to that full dosage yet. First time I took one capsule I herxed my brains out. Currently taking 3 caps 3 X a day and increasing slowly. So far so good.
