I had my spleen removed 10 years ago. I have Lyme that is not responding to oral antibiotics. Does anyone know if not having a spleen could be contributing to this and or if not having a spleen can make it worse quicker? I jumped right into neuro symptoms....

It attacks the spleen and prevents antibiotic treatment from being 100% effective for lyme.

My spleen had to be removed because part of my pancreas had to be removed due to a tumour.
I have not been tested for those yet but i guess since i have no spleen it cant be attacked - one good thing LOL....BUT are you saying i need a spleen for antibiotics to be 100% effective????
