Has anyone taken this and how did it work out for you? Or your experience with it?

It doesn't absorb well. And if you're trying to chelate mercury you sure as heck don't want to take EDTA as it will just cause redistribution and can result in brain damage. Use DMSA or DMPS instead.

I used EDTA orally and couldn't tell a difference. Stopped taking it at the directive of my LLMD.

I have taken oral EDTA everyday of my life for the last 3 years. And based upon my Doctor's Data fecal and urine test results I can say that oral EDTA does remove heavy metals from the body.
I take the products "Beyond Chelation Improved", "Essential Daily Defense" everyday (both of those contain EDTA). Plus I take a little extra food grade oral EDTA everyday.
Dr. Gary Gordon has a lot of info about the use of oral EDTA.

Have any of you been reading the "Allergie Immun Germany" thread here in Med Questions?
It's not a tx for Lyme and you shouldn't use it if you're on abx or any supplements. I've been off abx over a year, in remission and wanting to get rid of not just metal tox but food allergies, chemicals, molds, etc.
If you're not actively in tx and not taking supps, then this is something to look into. I've just finished my first round and waiting on my 2nd. Don't feel better yet, but definitely feels like the metal toxs are moving (like when I used to eat lots of cilantro).

I am using EDTA suppositories with good success. It's a product called Detoxamin.
I'm about to add in oral EDTA as well.
