It's not classic dizziness. It feels more like my head is in a bubble and floating above my body.....very disconnected feeling......sometimes feels like I'm floating along.

The weirdest thing is that it's worse when I'm inside. is this because walls and ceilings affect it somehow?

And, it never occurs when i first get up in the morning........usually will start after being awake a few hours.

Up until now, my main symptom has been hand numbness, w/ a few other weird things such as shin pain, jelly like blobs on my eyes that blur my vision (I can wipe them away), occassional nausea.

I've been diagnosed w/ chronic lyme (positive IgG and IgM from Igenex), possible MS, MS, thoracic outlet syndrome and the big ????

Sounds more like brain fog than dizziness.

Does it get worse after you eat? Perhaps you have a candida infection (which would explain the eye blobs and nausea). And if so, symptoms would tend to worsen after eating, particularly if you weren't restricting carbs and sugars.

Candida could also aggravate allergies, giving you MCS type symptoms. Do you have a basement at home? Any water leak issues? Mold would also add to any fungal issues you may already be dealing with.

Sounds like derealization which is a big sympton if you have high anxiety. Do you have issues with anxiety or panic attacks?

Benzos might help you ask your doc.

Derealization, anxiety, and panic are all common Lyme symptoms. Many of us have had the head-floating feeling you describe (including me).

For some people certain artificial lighting, or computer monitors, can intensify or bring this on too, so that is something to consider as well. Lyme seems to cause sensitivities that I believe have something to do with sensory overload/nerve disturbance.

lymeinhell makes some good points about environmental factors and possible food issues. Candida can cause symptoms like you mention when eating foods that support it, but so can aquired food sensitivities or allergies. Chronic inflammation from things like Lyme can cause this.

Another factor to consider is hormones, since their levels fluctuate through the day - have you been to an endocrinologist to have them checked? Lyme can cause many hormone imbalances.

I imagine that you know that MS is a differential diagnosis with Lyme (many cases of MS are found to actually be Lyme, and to resolve with Lyme treatment).

You might want to start an anti-candida diet, and an elimination diet, and start evaluating your house for chemical and biological toxins (like household cleaners, mold, etc.).

You might also want to begin taking a high quality probiotic - this will help with candida issues, and is vital when treating for Lyme.

Are you currently treating your Lyme?

I forgot to mention, you said you get shin pain - I have had this too, and I've seen a lot of people post about it here.

The concensus here (and from several articles that have been found) is that bone pain can be caused by Bartonella.

It might also be from Babesia, as Babesia has also been found in bone marrow, etc.
