I have heard people say how good the pouches are but what about the capsules. The capsules are somewhat cheaper so I figured maybe I would try them and cut out some other stuff I am taking.

Also if bought at a pharmacy should it be refrigerated.

I think my acidolphilous isnt working now and i think i may be having issues do to it. i have heard many say how good vsl3 is so hoping this may be a "fix" for me.

thank you [Smile]

i think the capsules are very good. i used them when on abx and noticed immediate improvement.

if you want the strength to equal 1 packet, you take 2 capsules.

most people are afraid or not aware of to taking frequent/large amounts of probiotics and are way under the dosage needed to replace intestinal flora.

VSL #3 capsules are 225 billion live cultures each and 2 capsules equal 1 packet which is 450 BILLION CULTURES.

in the mean time, their gut flora is getting destroyed heavily on a daily basis without being replaced fully, so there is a constant deficit.

You can get VSL#3 at your local CVS.

VSL SO much more effective. if you are having gut issues and serious candida problems, VSL#3 is the motherload of probiotics!

Gemof...you have the doses wrong. 2 capsules = 225 billion units. Each capsule has 112.5 billion units. It'd take 4 capsules to equal a VSL #3 DS powder sachet.

I also take VSL#3 capsules. More convenient and cost effective than taking a handful of lower dose probiotics.
