Anyone had this happen to them? I feel like the insides of my hands are on fire! Like I stuck them in hot coals, except on the inside.

To put them against my legs or face, they don't feel very hot but it's almost agony just under the skin.

I recently upped my dose of zith and that is all I'm taking right now besides Nystatin.

Please someone tell me you've gone through this and that it will go away.

oh yeah, my whole body was on fire, I put ice packs on my legs for months.
Yes, it went away...for at least a yr, and now, just 1 week ago, it started again..but not as severe, plus I am off abx , so maybe relapse, or maybe herx (I am on other things which would make me herx).
so, don't worry, it does go away, but treat aggressively.

I had it severely for several years. It is a symptom of neuropathy. Damage to the nerves. Can be caused by the toxins that are created by borrelia.

It may help to increase your detox support. Best help in the long run is the right abx. Mine was gone for 2 years but is now back and getting worse. I'm on abx...

Thanks Jenin.... how do you mean by "but treat aggressively?

I had something similar happen when I first started Doxy but it only lasted a few days and wasn't this severe. In that case, anyone who touched my hands could tell they were much hotter. This time people only say "oh, it might be slightly warmer.."

So is the abx doing their job or does it mean I'm on the wrong abx?

It feels about 50% better now than earlier today. I kept my hands in cool water and that really seemed to help. But it's still there.

Any specific Detox that will help?

Thanks!

Epsom salt soak may help as well as rubbing lemon

on them. Don't know why it helps my burning neck so

much but it is a big relief.
