Hey [Smile]

I'm about 8 months into treatment. I feel slightly better, but still herx like a maniac. I've been 5 months on zithro, ceftin and plaquenil. Before that 3 months of mino, doxy and flagyl.

Now I'm experiencing this weird numbness in certain areas of the stomach. Feel like it is inside the stomach and not on the skin. It is exactly like the feeling you get when the foot or arm "fall asleep". Tingly.

Any1 experienced this? What could it be?

Thank you [Smile]

I have this too, along with tingling in my arms, legs, hands and feet. I assume they are more neuro symptoms but plan to ask my llmd about it specifically when I go in Sept. I'm only on doxy now.

anyone else? an answer sure would be nice!

Bells Palsy of the gut. Dr. Virginia Sherr has written a very informative article about this. Type her name into search bar here or google it and it will come up.

Also do a search on here for parasites and Lyme because they also cause symptoms in the small intestine and need to be treated.

I have/had this and with treatment it is healing,

Gael
