well, i've been pricing vitamins and such and iherb.com is the best place i've found.

i needed coq10 and some other stuff, resveratrol, andrographis, and the major vitamins.

i priced vitamin shoppe, pricey and other sites, but with all the ordering i've been doing from them, the discounts help.

where are you shopping for herbs and vitamins? only thing i can't find is xango and it's just too expensive at about 30 something a bottle.

I do my local shopping at Vitamin Cottage or VitaminShoppe,
and the online stuff is split between iHerb and swansonvitamins.com.

A couple of special things come from lef.org.

I generally find the best deals at either iHerb or Swanson.

swansonvitamins.com has some mangosteen at very good prices. It is not the same of course as xango but seems to work as well for me. Keeps my A1C and inflammation down. It is $10.89 a bottle. Every once in awhile I get a 10% discount and then I stock up on stuff.

Smartbomb.com is another really good place to shop. Free shipping on orders over $100 and after the first order you get a 10% off everything discount in e-mail. You can try mine if you decide to order from there. That way you could get the discount the first time you order.

The other really good place to shop is vitacost.com

I usually open a browser window for each place and go back and forth finding the best prices. iherb is usually more expensive than any of the others but then they may be close once the discount is applied. It's hard to know how much the discount will be until you know how much you are ordering with iherb.

I use iherb for any probiotics that I need during the summer because they are very good at keeping them cold during shipping and none of the other places do.

The rock bottom cheapest I have found is vitaglo.com. Free shipping at $50. Not great at customer service, but rarely have a need for customer service so the savings are worth the lack of service for me.

iherb.com has very good prices also and great customer service. Still not as cheap as vitaglo.com

Just a note about Smartbomb.com - it's happened to me more than once that they may not actually have in stock what you need (and not let you know until after your order), so if you're in a hurry for something, it might not be the best place to get it.

I like iHerb also. They are very reliable. Excellent prices compared to other sites and stores.

I use vitacost because even with free shippping elsewhere my stuff is cheaper at vitacost.

I think it depends on what you regularly purchase. My shampoos, soaps, etc are way cheaper at vitacost.

That happens to me all the time with vitacost. Vitacost will hold up the whole shipment unless you stipulate before you order that you are willing to pay full shipping 2X.

Sorry you've had that problem with Smartbomb. Doesn't happen to me much with smartbomb and they do ship everything that they have in stock and then when they get the out of stock product they ship it at no charge. I think it does depend on what products you are ordering as to whether it is likely to be in stock.
