Do HOT showers help or hurt while herxing? Reading on-line and this is another debate that no one can agree on??? wouldn't a hot shower help release toxins from body? More confussed then ever....let me know if anyone has any input on this by experience....feeling better or worse!

i have had excellent results with just sweating in general or exercise.
how do you feel afterwards? if it feels effective for you, definitely do it!
hot steam, sauna and whirlpool is good.
some prefer epsom salt baths as a very effective method of detoxing.

I think if you can tolerate them they are good. Some people can't tolerate them. At the very least hot showers relax your muscles.
Hot Epsom salt baths are very effective, as well, as mentioned.

Hot showers and hot weather used to put my symptoms through the roof, so much that I had to skip showering and went to work dirty for days on end in fear of what showers would do to me.
Fast forward 2 months of oral abx and I no longer get this reaction and take showers freely, thank god. Same goes with hot weather. I never thought that awful symptom would go away.
I think it's just a nervous system reaction and less to do with herxing, from my own personal experience.

they make my symptoms worse and then when i cool off i am better then before the shower.
