ok, here goes...I have been reading lots of posts here and I don't think these results are near detailed enough:

SIGNIFICANT LEVELS OF IGM, IGA, AND IGG ANTIBODY DETECTED BY CAPTURE

EIA WITH SIGNIFICANT IGG IMMUNOBLOT FINDINGS.
THESE FINDINGS ARE DIAGNOSTIC OF A DISSEMINATED INFECTION WITH B.burgdorferi.

Do these "significant" amounts point to a more recent infection as opposed to something my husband has had for years?

Thx!

I would recommend your husband speak with his Lyme doc. Only they can judge (clinically, judging from history and symptoms) how long he has had it.

The tests are terribly faulty, unreliable. My test results showed a new infection yet my LLMD told me I'd had it for about ten years.

As Lyme patients we have to rely on the expertise of our Lyme docs, until such time that better, more accurate testing is available.
