posted a similar thread but wanted to seperate the discussion for some more specific questions..
my results basically came out for the titer test to be 1:40... for IGG response to Babesia microti...
so, looking at the IGENEX explanation (haven't seen my llmd yet)... that basically says may be infected with Babesia microti....
so... it meets the minimal requirement for a positive, since my llmd's office told me it was positive..
i'm confused now because it seems every test i have is never 100% with this lyme thing but i guess thats the way it goes..
QUESTIONS: since i've had a positive western blot, coupled with now this mild positive Babesia microti test, does that make it more likely i do indeed have lyme and there is no doubt?
is it possible to get a mild positive like i did on the Babesia microti test and not have it?
very confused on how docs view all of this.. don't have an appointment for a while with llmd so would appreciate info on this.
thanks again, it means a lot scott
