For those of you that are on amoxicillan what was your doses and how many times of day do you take it?

I took 2500 mg three times daily with probenecid to keep it in the system longer. I took it along with other meds.

I had a peak level test done when I was at a lower dosage and it showed that I needed more for it to work optimally. This level will be different for each person.

i took 4,000 mg 3x per day and Bicillin shots plus other antibiotics. A friend of mine took 18,000 mg per day and got cured after several months of that!

I am taking 1500mg 2 x day. Not sure if llmd intends to increase the dose. It was my newest "add on" antibiotic.

500 mg twice a day, but this is just a maintenance dose

My wife's on 875mg pills three per day.
She's working up to 6 pills per day.

I take 1000mg twice a day. Doesn't seem to be doing squat for me.

Are you only taking 1,000mg or are you on anything else?

If you are only taking 1,000mg don't expect much without a cyst buster and another ABX.

You can go way up with amox, to at least 18,000mg and it can be taken with a cyst buster such as flagyl or tindamax and a macrolide such as zithromax or biaxin.

It you are not taking high doses of amox it's not going to penetrate the BBB. It's very effective in super high doses.
