I have a south Florida Lyme friend with an installed port, but no insurance at all.

I've read most of the posts here (stickies) and wondered who currently has the best priced IV Rocephin options by mail order?

I need real data with an URL, thanks.

I would highly recommend Infuserve America.

You can call them at 1-800-886-9222 or check out their website at http://www.infuserveamerica.com/

Their customer service is excellent. Billing is honest, I am charged exactly what i'm told, no hidden fees. My supplies come when they are promised with the medication nice and cold as it should be.

If you contact them, they could give you a price based on exactly what supplies you need (dressing change kits, flushes, etc) and how you want to administer the Rocephin (pushes, drips, and eclipse pumps). The staff at infuserve are extremely knowledgable, caring , and helpful.

I had fully planned on using Infuserve, but I just got a phone call one day and my Dr had set me up with Community Surgical in New Jersey.

Right now my ins is paying, but they quoted me just a little lower then Infuserve did. Phone # is 1-800-349-2990. Once I'm on my own I'll still be checking around. My Home Care Agency is bringing me info on one near me, if they can match the price that would be great.

keltyl what insurance do you have if you don't mind me asking. I have Horizon HMO and got my initial request denied this past week. I have a CDC positive WB, along with 2 Med. Nec. letters, and a Nouro. Assesment stating the need for treatment. Sent my first Appeal in, fingers crossed. Community Surgical is also who i am using. any advice on how you got insurance to cover?

I just wanted to give you all a heads up.

If you have insurance coverage, your copay through a home health care agency may end up costing more than if you were to pay out of pocket through Infuserve. I learned this the hard way.

If I had known what I know now I would have payed out of pocket and gone with Infuserve to start with. It would have been so much cheaper and easier.
