I posted last week at the end of my rope with all my joints hurting, muscle stiffness and burning sensations, headaches, shortness of breath and always, always the neck pain.

My LLMD put me on Bactrim 1 tab twice a day and flagyl work up to 3 a day. Started the Bactrim first and could tell improvement in all the symptoms. Joint pain is gone. I am free of the neck pain at the moment. Still feel like poo and fatigued but better.

I'm just hoping this continues.

I did well on Bactrim too. I herxed pretty good on it then I felt great! It goes after babs and I think Bart. Have you done any babs meds yet? I think we see the same doc in MO. He has me on malarone right now. You might ask him to try that next, if you do have babs.

I did the clindamycin and quinine. I can really tell the difference with the Bactrim. I couldn't tell a real improvement with all the others. Maybe my bug load has finally reduced enough to tell improvement? I'll ask him about the malarone. Thanks.

Good to hear, Zil!
I am starting that combo tomorrow.
Sounds like we all have the same doc!

That's very encouraging!
I'm about to start a new combo: Bactrim, Biaxin and Malarone.
Hope it works well for me!
