this is beginning to wear me down. i had to change my ent appt to the 18th (personal reasons).

i don't know if this is a herx or not, but man, my head hurts. also my arms almost down to the wrist just ache really bad.

on the right side of my fact in front of the ear and along the jawbone is swollen and i have a sore throat. i can't "pop" my right ear, in fact it hurts when i try. you know when you hold your nose and blow gently and your ears pop? well i can't do that in that ear at all.

i just feel like total crap...

and i want to sleep FOREVER...i am soooo tired, just exhausted. i force myself to walk that mile every morning, chanting "i can do this, i can do this"...i know it's only a mile but i've got to do it to loose weight.

i don't know if herx emotionally or not, but i am so uh, bad tempered and i feel like i could burst into tears at any moment. nothing makes me happy. i mean it's like my world has gone all grey, no colors, just blah...

i'm going what the ___.. it ain't worth it.

this is a herx

Oh, Randi, I am sooo sorry, you sound like me.

For my ear, I did have a chiropractor do an ear adjustment everytime I went to get my neck adjusted. That has helped my ear A LOT!! They pull the ear down, and jerk it back really quick, it didn't hurt me and after a few weeks my ear felt better.

You might also have something in your C-spine out of whack. If you do go for an adjustment, then put a heating pad on after the first few visits so the muscles don't hurt worse and take hot baths.

Please remember to do all the detoxing you can. I did have a really bad time the first month with diflucan, but I kept on it. Mine was the fatigue.

I also read that the doctors are starting to believe that ear infections are fungal and that is why the come back so much.

Outer ear infections are mostly fungal in nature.

Middle ear infections are mostly trapped fluid which is a

Breeding ground for all types of nastiness including

Meningitis and more. Ear infections in the middle ear (otitis media)

Can create infections in the skull bones. Like in the Mastoid process.

It has to be lifted (skull piece) and scraped off.

I would go get my ear looked at for sure.

The "popping" that you get is when your

Eustachian tube equalizes pressure in your middle ear.

It can be occluded by infection or other things including a tooth infection too.

Throat infection also. Please go have this looked at asap.

Hugs,

Geneal

most important to take diflucan for 3-4 months WITHOUT ABX . if still on abx diflucan really does no good.
you can not get rid of systemic yeast, and yes you can herx from killing of aspergillus and candida.
must take large does of good probiotics,
no yeast, fungi intake,no sugar, no wheat.
would recommend acyclovir in addition to diflucan
as dormant viruses can also emerge during this cleansing of the yeast.
lots of water and more water, and some more water.

it will get better, and once yeast is out of body,
many symptoms attributed too lyme and co's will go away, even cfs.

god luck.

Wow <<<<< Doc Dave/Stymielymie >>>>>,

I am glad you mentioned the no ABX w/ Diflucan!!!

I mentioned to Randibear a bit ago to check w/ a Dr. about what ABX may be safe to take w/ Diflucan...didn't realize.

Now I know why the Diflucan I had a couple years back, didn't seem to do much...

i'm confused. a lot of llmds want me on diflucan when on abx

also on nystatin

they say take the nystatin away from the abx but it doesn't matter when you take the diflucan cuz it works systemically-not in gut

so i am confused-and don't understand what is behind this. my llmds are experienced and ilads.

diflucan kills yeast, not fungi.
vfend kills fungi also but mucho expensive.
systemic yeast is caused by the overgrowth of yeast
in an environment where normal flora is killed by abx.
norma flora needs to return to remove systemic yeast infections.
this can not occur WHILE ON ANY ABX,
diflucan, nystatin or vfend can not work while abx are still killing normal flora.

simple

DO you think you can be on Samento and herbs when doing this- if you go off antibiotics?

great, just great. my doc never told me not to take the diflucan with biaxin.

i've been doing it for two weeks. egads....

yesterday was the worst day. i was up all night walking the floor in pain.

i still have head pressure pretty bad and the ears hurt.

but i'm wondering. since i jerked my neck so severely, could this be related to that fall i had on july 28th?

in other words, are your sinuses and nose connected to your neck? so if i injured my neck and say ruptured some discs (and believe you me the pain is that bad), would it effect my face like this?

<<<<< Randibear Dear Friend >>>>>,

I don't know much about bone structure and discs except that they could rupture or bones break/ crack etc.

I wonder if you could have hurt the top vertebrae in your neck, and if you have sinus/ ear infection too... your head would sure be pounding in pain I'd think...?!?

The swelling in your face is a concern too...

Were you ever tested for Bartonella? I get headaches from it..severe.

Prayers continuing for you to be able to find answers and get this pain stopped quickly!

And Doc-Dave,Thank You again for the info' and clarification!!!

yes randibear
the cranial nerves go down the center of the sppinal cord, along with associated nerves alone them.
damage to the neck can cause a pinced nerve of any of the cranial nerves ,causing pain in sinuses ,ear,
temporal or facial muscles.
