Wondering if any of us who have extreme head pressure 24/7 (and associated dizziness) as a main symptom are ever able to have it broken. I've had it constantly for many years and (originally dx'd with NDPH) and am praying for hope.

Yes Shark...

You can get better. I did after years and years of the head pressure.

Head swelling/pressure.. be sure to look for babesia.

Lyme can cause it but babesia can be a cause too.

I've had it for years too. It's some better now. But I still get it. Mine seems to be triggered by any kind of exercise.

I had head pressure. It went away, but it took a long time. I would have it really badly when I'd herx.

Now, I am better and haven't had this symptom in many months (still treating, though).

joasark,

This had been my main symptom along with lightheadedness, and debilitating headaches. After almost 2 years it has cleared 80%.

It began clearing on Mepron and Biaxin XL, which is babesia treatment. This is what made me turn the head pressure corner...different for everyone though!

Best to you,
Feelfit

Thanks so much for your replies. It helps so much to have just the tiniest glimmer of hope!

Feelfit, wow, 80% cleared! Do you still always feel it only to a much less extent or does it completely go away and come back sometimes?

I spend much of my time locked away in my room, missing my life and more importantly my children's lives due to this. Grateful for hope.

Thanks agian to all who are out there helping with your support!

Penny

Hi Penny,

My head still feels weird, but it is nowhere near what it was. I have only had the clearing for about a week and 1/2 now but it is significant.

I know what you mean by locked in your room. I could not socialize, had to give up driving, and generally, was barely functioning. I really have not tested the driving out yet (one short drive).

But things generally seem to be looking up. I don't feel it continiously anymore either, but there are various times durning the day that I will get a 'spell' of head pressure.

I hope that with continued treatment it will leave for good.....never loose hope. This happened almost overnight for me.....the same can happen for you!

Best,
Feelfit
