I've been experiencing a strange sensation for nearly a year now. After about 4 to 5 hours of sleep, like clockwork, I get a strong vibrating sensation in the neck, shoulders, and around my head. I would REALLY like to know what causes this and why it takes place when it does so predictably. Maybe even more strange is that it's pretty much the only symptom I have. I tested negative through spinal fluid, ELISA, and urine test before getting a positive Igenex test. I'm really wondering what is going on.
I would be forever grateful for anything you can share.

I have no idea. It happens to me nightly and it's almost always what I wake up to. I think it might be positional in nature and have to do with inflammation of the spinal cord?
*shrug* It sure is annoying, to put it mildly.

Prob nerve signals miss-fireing cuz of damage. and when relaxed they generate enough energy to flow strongly in an attempt to reaspond to your REM stage of sleeping.
When awake and using energy, there is not enough free energy to build up and burst into vibration.
Are u in treatment? These night things seem to fade w doxy.
