I hope this can help some people!

Governor Patterson has passed a law which states that you can be covered under your parents health insurance as a dependent till you are 29.

You are eligible as long as you do not have a employer based option. This is a great thing for freelancers and people just out of college!

I hope this helps someone! I am quite happy that I will not have to pay for COBRA as of January! (some sort of grace period)

Obviously my lyme won't be paid for -- but at least some of my orals will be covered, and I will have insurance for emergencies. Phew!
