I hope this can help some people! Governor Patterson has passed a law which states that you can be covered under your parents health insurance as a dependent till you are 29. You are eligible as long as you do not have a employer based option. This is a great thing for freelancers and people just out of college! Check out the link below. http://www.ins.state.ny.us/health/S6030_Age29_Memo.pdf I hope this helps someone! I am quite happy that I will not have to pay for COBRA as of January! (some sort of grace period) Obviously my lyme won't be paid for -- but at least some of my orals will be covered, and I will have insurance for emergencies. Phew! <3 -------------------- IgeneX Positive IgM: 30 +, 31 ++, 34 +, 39 IND, 41 IND IgG: 31 +++, 34 IND, 39 IND, 41 +++ Rocephin / Zithromax / Supps
