Well, I was Abx free for 6 months after taking abx for 1.5 years.
I have some of the old symptoms back, especially the headache and head pressure.
My LLMD gave me 250 Zithro and 1000 flagly per day
Anybody been on this combination? Does it really matter when to take the 1 zitro, I was leaning for just before bed.
I think that I had my relapse as I let my body get run down, lack of detoxing and generally leading a lifestlye that I was fully cured. The lesson that I learned is not to let up. If lyme truly goes into remission ( as opposed to fully killing the bugs) then one has to always be staying ahead of the curve.
I beat this lyme/bart once and I will beat it again. Oh, the wine tasted good but I am now back to lemon/water
Tony

Sounds like you might need Rifampin or Levaquin for Bart.

I agree with Myco. It doesn't look like you took much to tackle the coinfections. For bart, it seems levaquin, rifampin or bactrim are some of the best.
Did you also have babs symptoms at any point? I see you took Malarone for a short time.
My LLMD thinks it's best to treat the lyme and the coinfections at the same time.
Sorry you are back here!

Hey Tony, I'm so sorry about your setback. The great thing is that you've experienced remission once, so you know you can do it again. I've had to learn the same lesson as you as far as sliding back into my old habits. No matter how long I've been feeling well, if I get sloppy with my eating and lifestyle habits it never fails to bring on symptoms. We have to STAY vigilent and it's tough!
As far as your meds - at the very least I would ask to go up to 5 or 600 mg a day of Zith rather than the 250. You're good to go on the Flagyl though...1,000 mg a day?! Yikes! You're braver than I am, LOL!
