I had to stop Mepron (for Babs) to start Mycobutin (for Bart). Threating the Bart has nailed the last of my symptoms, but now the Babs sweats are back.

I know that taking Mepron and Mycobutin reduces the efficacy of both. But, the alternative is Lariam which has a bad rate of mental and nervous system side effects, some of which may not leave even if you stop taking the meds. Also, taking Lariam and Biaxin (which I take) together can give you heart issues.

I'm thinking the reduced efficacy isn't looking so bad.

How do you all treat your Babs and Bart infections at the same time?

Ah, yes. I was taking that, but the change to mycobutin was so, so good!

Is the coverage as good, or suppose to be as good?

Does anyone take mycobutin and mepron together?
