My son has Lyme, Babesia and Candida issues and is taking plaquinil, biaxin, omnicef, nystatin and a host of supportive supplements for digestion, thyroid, detox, and immune support. A recent test indicated liver enzymes are little high. We'll see his llmd in a week, but I'm trying to learn what I can. Can anyone shed some light?

have him start taking milk thistle every day. It protects the liver. It really works. It helped bring my enzymes down, and I shared the info w/ a friend.

I saw him recently and he told me that he gave the info to a friend/handyman of theirs who has cancer and was having problems treating it, bec the drug made his liver enzymes go up. He said the milk thistle did the trick and he's now able to take the drug and his enzymes are normal.
