Good question. I'm getting a PICC put in next week.

Last year my LLMD said no flu shot because my immune system is already weak and the shot might cause the full-blown flu.

i can only tell you what i did...and just to add confusion my LLMD said the opposite that catching the flu would really set me back....and i went on to get the shot without issue.

i got this years shot yesterday...no issue. apples to apples ..last year i was real sick this year 90% better.

not sure about the h1n1..
