I can't remember where I read that generic lunesta was much different than brand lunesta. Didn't work as well. Does anyone take generic lunesta? Is it possible to get brand lunesta on line, no prx?
Thanks much!

Do they even make generic Lunesta yet? I wasn't sure that they did.

Lunesta does not have a generic version. Maybe you are thinking of Ambien?

Your right, there is not a legal generic form of lunesta, although there are places on the internet that say they have generic lunesta and it's NOT advised to take them.
Generic lunesta is estimated to be available in 2012 or later. Thanks for helping me to figure it out!

Is Eszopiclone a Generic Lunesta? No -- eszopiclone is the active ingredient in Lunesta, but is not a generic version of it. Oftentimes, the active ingredient of a drug is referred to as the "generic name." The generic name is different from a generic version of a medicine, however.
In order for there to be a generic version of a medicine, the original medicine must have gone off-patent, and then another company besides the original manufacturer must make the product.
