My friend's mom passed away last week from the flu. They assume H1N1.

She was having trouble breathing, went to bed and died in her sleep.

I don't know of any conditions she had. She must have been in her early 60's.

This was in Illinois.

So sorry to hear that.

Too bad she didn't seek medical attention when she was having trouble breathing.

I am so sorry about your friends loss. I know this is not a good time but frozen blood samples may help later if suggested to lab to keep.

Just goes to show you the absolutely deplorable conditions that livestock undergo on the way to our plate. I am going vegan. If you are not educated in respect to the lives animals lead that end up on our table, you should become aware. Were it not for greed, swine flu, etc. wouldn't be around. Read "The Face on Your Plate" by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson. You will never want to eat meat again.

This is so tragic since she was still so young. At first they were saying it was only dangerous for the very young and those pregnant.

I had hoped that their dire predictions would turn out not to be true.

If you find out what symptoms she had that they assumed it was H1N1 Jentytib could you post later?

I know vitamin D3 is controversial for lyme, but have read that it's especially good for protection of the lungs preventing pneumonia.

A good explanation of why vit D helps:
