What is the product you were taking (and the link)?

What meds were you on at that time? Were you drinking enough water?

And were you taking any Ibuprofen at that time (as that can be hard on kidney function)?

Do you smoke or have diabetes?

There is a big difference in the support supplements and some of the fast and furious "cleanses" - I've never been a big fan of anything that is supposed to make a big change overnight.

Cordyceps is one herb that offers support to the kidneys and to the lungs. That is one that should be fine - within reason. It's best to check with your LLMD and also the suggestions of other LLMDs who have authored articles or books on this subject.

Do you have Singleton's book (The Lyme Disease Solution)? Have you seen Burrascano's Nutritional/Supplement guidelines (2008)? There are some good items listed in both.

i can tell ya exactly what PARASITE cleanse did it. im just glad i only took it for about 3 weeks & not the months i was supposed to.

now im too scared to take much of anything, i thought Hey it;s just herbs but you still have to be careful!
nope to smoking or diabetes.andi get regular blood tests every 3 months, that was the only time it was high thank god, so i think i didnt do any permanent Damage.

so anyone out there doing hard core cleanses or supps, be sure & get your blood work done!

If you can recall the name of the product, that would be very helpful. While there are some excellent supplements available there are also some that should not be on the market or should be used under the care of a MD or ND.

Please do not be scared away from supplements. In the right manner under the right guidance some are very good and very important.

Without supplements to protect and support the liver, antibiotic treatment can damage the liver. So, that's just one example of how important the right thing at the right dose at the right time can be.
