That's an interesting combination. Let us know how your doing on them.

If you get problems with nausea, then there are drugs to treat that.

didn't do the merrem but did 4 months Tigecyl.

First month tough on stomach but much easier after that. By the 3rd month no issues.

First month ate crackers & drank ginger ale to combat the nausau.

I had profound nausea (from the Tyg), especially the first 2 weeks. The merropenen was not a problem. Neither of my anti-nausea meds worked, but the Tyg got me to the next level of health and it has worked for others, as well.

Spent an afternoon throwing up on Tyg but since LLMD does not use it everyday itis ok.

I know some people (who have big problems with nausea) use zofran to combat that.
