Josh,

Welcome. Sorry you've had to be here. I see that a few weeks ago you posted to find a LLMD near you - after having had lyme several years ago.

I don't want to squash your hopes of an inexpensive rife, however, I would be very cautious about this. I hope you get some good replies and links to those who will know.

I am not versed enough with this to do this post justice.

You might do a search of past rife posts here (looking in the subject line, in medical forum):

Also search for posts by Dan, who can tell you much more. Just clink on his name from a post and send him a PM (private message):

Oh, looking at that site again, I want to caution you against the bonus. Many neuro-lyme patients have inner ear complications. Some have seizures.

I have concerns that the bonus offered could be dangerous for anyone with inner or middle ear issues - or seizures (or any neuro sensitivities).

And, as lyme patients are often very depleted, extra endorphins can also dangerously stress or agitate the adrenal and cardiac systems.

I would sure want an expert LLMD who knows all about rife (or a rife expert who knew all about lyme and other tick-borne infections) to first explore with this system before I would.

I would also want to know how the inaudible rife waves might be compromised by the strong EMF field of most computers. Rife waves are inaudible . . . they really should need no speaker.

BTW, some lyme doctors are somewhat familiar with rife - if they listen to their patients. However, as rife is not FDA approved, doctors are not allowed to bring it up. If asked, however, they can share with you their thoughts or experiences of other patients.

----------

That part that concerns me from the computer/rife site:

" Included Bonus: Binaural Beats are special waveforms and theta frequencies that are delivered through headphones. Certain frequencies safely trigger the release of endorphins to the body that are powerful natural pain killers. "

RIFE - in general

RIFE machine - with lyme and TBD (tick-borne disease). A discussion forum and link to a very good book about rife and lyme/TBD (tick-borne infections).

A search for videos at YOU TUBE for "Rosner+Rife" :

You might give Bryan Rosner a call with your question. I've talked with him on occasion. Very friendly. If he does not know the answer he may direct you to someone who does.

I would not even try it for a free test UNTIL I'd thoroughly researched it.

I've learned that many things can make symptoms worse. And I don't know if the reference to breaking glass was something this thing is supposed to be able to do or just a joke - but there are some frequencies can cause permanent hearing damage in even just a few seconds.

I hate to put down something I've not investigated. But I have my rife (and EMEM5a) and am happy with it. I still have lots to learn before I really get going with it but I have no energy to further research this one. I just know that it will take an eagle eye and clear mind to evaluate. I hope you find the answers you need.

Most of this type of software can produce a frequency well enough, but running it through speakers is not the way it is normally used.

So then you are using an even more experimental treatment, with zero track record. I would not bother even trying this as we already have better methods.

The software certainly could be used in conjunction with an amplifier and a Plasma Tube device. This is not an unusual method, but it does not work the way they are proposing.

So now the free software is no longer free because you need additional equipment to make it work.

This type of retailer are the ones that glom onto the Rife name, and then sell something that really can't work the way they propose, and is not even close to how Rife did it. They do a disservice to everyone, and I would avoid their products in general.

Frex software is used to drive Rife devices quite often. They do not propose that running it through speakers is going to accomplish anything. They tell you that an amp and plasma device or contact pads are needed. If you want to use a software based signal process, I suggest their product as many have already tested it. Your sound card needs to be good enough to transmit these signals also. You can download a trial version free, and run it through your speakers, but this is not going to work for treatment. You can experiment with it if you wish, but what often happens is people then conclude that frequency treatments do not work. They only work when done properly and this is not the proper method, and no one but hucksters selling something claim that it does work this way.
