I hate this symptom. My right arm gets SO heavy and tired. I say it feels weak, but when dr's test my strength it is normal. It just feels so off and like I have lead weights tied to it. It comes and goes, but sometimes it will plague me for days before it lets up.

My LLMD just says "it's just part of it". Which is basically his explanation for all my symptoms. Well it is obviously part of it, but why?? My Osteopath believes it is caused from the inflamation in my neck and right shoulder. My neck has been hurting and my right shoulder/shoulderblade hurts so bad and burns. He thinks that maybe that is causing a pinched nerve that is making the arm heavy and tingly.

Does anyone else get this? What is it and why does it happen? Been treating for 2.5 months and am not improving.

Thanks in advance.

That was one of my first symptoms. It went away w/antibiotic therapy. Hopefully the same will work for you.

I have the same issue, which is why I thought for a while I could have MS, but my muscle tests are always normal. I'm hoping it gets better once I start treatment.

Lyme, Bart, possible Babs
Currently on IV Doxy, Bactrim, Zithromax, Nystatin, Mepron
Been on nearly every antibiotic since 10/09

About 60% improvement. Dizziness, air hunger remain.

My dad has this symptom, it really bothers him and some days he is in a lot of pain. Since starting the Levaquin though it hasn't been as bad as it used to be this spring.
