I have started Tygacil and the nausea is bad. I'm wondering from those that have done Tygacil when does the nausea abate? Did it take a few days, weeks or was nausea present the entire time? Did you vomit too?
What did you take to help with nausea? Zofran is helping me but I am having to take it around the clock cuz it wears off after bout 6-8 hours.
Also very hard to eat and the smell of food, ugh.
Did Tygacil help your symtoms and if so what symptoms went away? Do you feel it helped with your bart symtpoms? DId you do pulsed dosing?
